"I only drink red" might be the most common wine comment heard here in Alberta, but with the calibre of our beef and an average of thirteen months of winter annually, it's hardly surprising. The variety within the category is astounding, from svelt and tangy to luscious and monolithic. Vine Arts is hosting a tasting to discuss how red wine is actually made (did you know Cabernet Sauvignon has white juice?!) and all the factors that affect style and flavour (stems, maceration, oak?!) through a tasting including Juice Imports' most delicious and delectable red wines.
