We're really globetrotting with this trio! We've got a sultry Chardonnay from South Africa's J.H. Meyer, a thrilling blend of Pinot Noir and Gris from New Zealand's The Hermit Ram, and perhaps the most regal wine to ever make it into the club, Franz Weninger's prized Kalkofen Blaufrankisch.
For this month's podcast, we interviewed Brad Royale who is consulting all across Canada, writing many of our favourite wine lists, judging competitions, and releasing small amounts of wine under his own label, Kitten Swish.

We've got three superb wines for you this month: a wild Marechal Foch from Ibi / Revel, Daydreamer's majestic Amelia Syrah, and Meinklang's universally appealing Gruner Veltliner.

We decided to do two wines from Napa: Dirty & Rowdy's Semillon and a Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot blend from Les Lunes. To contrast these two serious cuvées, we opted for the incredibly playful and joyous Stalisma from Kamara in Greece.
For this month's podcast, we interviewed Kevin Schorath from Co-op. We did our WSET Diploma together years ago; he's a wealth of knowledge. We had to record this month over Zoom, so sadly, my vocal quality isn't as pristine as usual, but the content is as superb as ever.

Our podcast this month is a little different. I wanted to focus less on the individual wines and talk a little more about the basics. If you're new to wine and were hoping to have key concepts clarified, this is the episode for you. We also have a convenient guide to wine tasting on our here!
All three wines are from France: Laurent Saillard’s Lucky You, Domaine de la Garrelière’s Chenin de la Colline, and Domaine Duseigneur La Goutte du Seigneur.

This week we chat about Domaine de la Garrelière's Cinabre Cabernet Franc which is the perfect foil for Echo Bay's Synoptic (one of my annual favourites made by our dear friend Kelsey in the Okanagan). We also snuck the last bottle of Dormilona Chardonnay into the line-up. What a treat!
For this month's podcast, we interviewed Kate Burns from MNML! Give her a follow on Instagram to learn more about natural wine in Canada.
